Preliminary Ballet/Isadora Dance/Creative Dance/ (4 p.m. Tuesdays) — Recommended for ages 3 to 5

This class employs movement that is natural and developmentally appropriate. Students do more than learn gestures or positions. They develop body connectivity, ease of movement, and the ability to dance freely and confidently with others through the space, all while still developing foundations of dance technique. We use props, images, stories, games and songs to engage the child’s body, mind, and spirit. Children learn to love moving, to trust their bodies, to trust each other. This class helps children in finding their unique place in the world. Class is gender-neutral.
